Calo applies globally informed best practices while adapting to local quality and convenience expectations. Under its current operating model in the UK, they maintain a fleet of drivers executing thousands of deliveries every week within the M25 area.
Challenge

Calo implemented Podfather's route planning and optimisation features, which factor in time windows, customer constraints, and load capacities for thousands of deliveries a day.
Alongside routing, Calo rolled out standard features such as automated vehicle checks, real-time tracking, and notifications. They also heavily use the electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) functionality to capture digital evidence, which includes date, time, and location-stamped photographs and signatures.
