Podfather's 2025 Year in Review: A Year of Growth, Innovation, and Record-Breaking Achievements

2025 was a record-breaking year for completed PODs, with over 20 million being processed, helping our customers save time, reduce costs, and cut down on paper usage meaning we’ve helped save over 7,200 trees by removing paper alone!. Our ePOD solution continues to transform delivery operations, capturing digital signatures, photographs, and proof of delivery in real time. This shift from paper-based processes improves accuracy, boosts customer satisfaction, and streamlines workflows.

This year, we welcomed over 50 new customers, including Brewers, Longcliffe Quarries, and Hörmann (UK) Ltd., who join long-standing partners like Tarmac, Breedon, NSS, Bidfresh, Holcim, Igloo, and Filshill. Our focus on helping businesses optimise their delivery processes continues to strengthen our reputation as a trusted logistics partner.

2025 also marked Podfather’s 25th birthday, a milestone reflecting a quarter-century of innovation, growth, and partnership. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a leading provider of cloud-based logistics solutions, continually refining our platform with features like route optimisation, ePOD, vehicle checks, and real-time tracking. Our dedication to developing solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience remains at the heart of what we do.

In April, Maven Capital Partners invested £3.4 million in Podfather, helping fund our growth and product development. Alongside this, we welcomed new directors: Drew Wotherspoon (Sales), Jade Roy (Finance), and Richard Morrell (Technology). This strengthened leadership team is key to driving our expansion plans and delivering even greater value to our clients.

We’ve experienced significant team growth in 2025, reflecting our commitment to innovation, customer support, and product development. This expansion enables us to continue enhancing our platform and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

For the fourth consecutive year, Podfather proudly sponsored the Stirling 10K. This year’s event attracted a record 1,350 participants in the 10K race and 200 children in the fun runs. The event’s vibrant atmosphere reflects the community spirit we value, and we look forward to continuing our support in future years.

This year, Podswap took centre stage as we expanded our haulier management capabilities, giving customers a smarter, more efficient way to allocate work, manage subcontractors, and maintain full visibility across outsourced deliveries. Alongside Podswap, we introduced the ePOD Gen2 app, adding interactive driver maps, route re-ordering, and barcode scanning to improve accuracy and driver experience. We also launched our Job Template Builder and PDF Builder, enabling teams to create custom job templates and generate branded, data-rich POD PDFs with ease. Together, these developments, and the continued evolution of our product roadmap, seen here, strengthen our commitment to delivering innovative, end-to-end logistics solutions.

Earlier this year, we proudly passed our ISO 27001:2022 recertification audit. This comprehensive audit ensures that all controls meet the latest security standards. Combined with ongoing staff training and best practices, this demonstrates our unwavering commitment to keeping customer data safe.
