Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced SaaS sales professional. Focused on driving business growth, you will be responsible for generating, developing, and closing new sales opportunities.

We are supporting over 30,000 commercial vehicle users running on UK roads. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to join a dynamic team and hit the ground running! Our offices are based in Edinburgh, but our teams work remotely. An element of business travel will be required.
Your roles & responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with an established Sales Executive to maximise market penetration.
- Creating and managing a sales pipeline and performance forecasting via a CRM.
- Qualification of business leads and understanding their pain points.
- Delivering software demonstrations, both face-to-face and online.
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximise profit.
- Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer
- stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Representing Podfather at trade shows and industry events.
- Work with the Customer Success team to onboard and support customers.
Required skills:
- Proven ability to sell a SaaS solution (minimum 5 years)
- Proficiency in the art of SPIN Selling.
- Be capable of building and managing a sales pipeline that delivers results.
- The tenacity and determination to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Experience working within the logistics and or construction sectors is preferable but not essential.

Salary £35,000 to £50,000 a year depending on experience
