Podfather supports Cybersecurity Awareness Month
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Here at Podfather, we take Cybersecurity very seriously. So far this year, we have celebrated passing our annual ISO 27001 audit and the renewal of our Cyber Essentials certification. Both accolades reflect the ongoing company-wide commitment to information security and the day-to-day practices and procedures that are part of our DNA as a business.
This year, we also bolstered our information security team with the addition of David Gibson, who joined us as our dedicated Information Security Manager. This key hire is a testament to Podfather’s commitment to data integrity across the whole of our business.
The creation of this role has been a critical step in helping ensure we live and breathe information security. David joins us with considerable experience in information security management. This role is crucial for overseeing our security processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a security-conscious culture across our business. Through proactive measures and regular employee training we aim to make security everyone’s responsibility.
Our recent achievements, such as the successful completion of our ISO 27001 audit and the renewal of our Cyber Essentials certification, provide a solid foundation for these efforts. The ISO 27001 certification highlights our robust information security management systems, while Cyber Essentials ensures we are protected from common cyber threats. Both certifications give our customers confidence that their data is secure.
