Podfather gets set for growth with new Board level appointments

Podfather, the Edinburgh-based software development company delivering route optimisation and electronic proof of delivery solutions to the logistics industry, is celebrating the addition of two new board members this week. Katie Hearns takes up the role of Finance Director and Jane Geary becomes Marketing Director at the software company, which was established in 2000 and is rapidly gaining market share across the logistics industry. The pair will continue to hold their senior leadership positions within the business, alongside their board commitments.

Podfather develops software solutions that are proven to eradicate paper, improve efficiency and reduce costs for companies operating commercial fleets. With a comprehensive product offering, committed customers and ambitious growth plans the business felt that now was the time to bring two new members onto the Board.

Katie is a Chartered Accountant and has been with Podfather since 2018, most recently in the role of financial controller. Prior to Podfather, Katie worked in senior finance positions with organisations including Nova International and the National Trust for Scotland.

Jane joined Podfather in 2019 and brings a wealth of industry experience having worked in marketing roles in the logistics software industry for over 20 years.

“I am delighted to be starting the year with such positive Podfather news,” adds McCreadie.  “Both Katie and Jane have made a significant impact here at Podfather and the experience and expertise they bring to our Board will assist us in future business growth as we look to expand our presence in both the UK and overseas.”
