Investors in People Silver Plaque for Podfather

The Podfather team has a reason to celebrate this week, having been awarded Silver Certification by Investors in People (IIP).  IIP accreditations are recognised around the world, making them the global benchmark when it comes to people management.  Having first received IIP recognition 10 years ago, this year’s audit is the first to be completed post Covid.  For the Podfather business, which operates a flexible working culture, it’s clear recognition that the company is a supportive and nurturing employer, who values each and every team member.

“The Podfather solution is a well-established choice for companies looking for route planning and ePOD but it’s the people behind it that makes us really special,” comments Colin McCreadie, Podfather’s Managing Director.  “Company culture is one of the cornerstones of our company and we pride ourselves in building a business where people can be challenged, rewarded and nurtured as individuals.  Retaining IIP Silver Status is a true reflection of that.”

The IIP Silver Certification was awarded following an in depth interview process that involved everyone across the Podfather business.  The audit report reinforced the caring and supporting culture while suggesting further potential improvements for the team to consider for the future.

“We are absolutely delighted to continue to be working with Podfather on their Investors in People journey and to award them with the Silver level of the We Invest in People accreditation,” comments Lorna Moffat, Investors In People Practitioner.  “This is a fantastic achievement and it is wonderful to see the real energy and drive that exists at Podfather to continue to make work better for their people.”
